More About

Mark ANDERSON

After graduating from Burns High School and the University of Wyoming, Mark started out managing the Agency in 1973 while working for the Farmers State Bank of Burns in Burns. Along with his Insurance duties he was also Vice-President of the Bank and was an Agricultural Lender as well. In 1982 Anderson resigned from the bank and purchased Burns Insurance. Since then the Agency has either purchased or started agencies in 16 other communities in Wyoming and Montana. Mark has served on many civic and community boards and organizations along with being active in his church. He has also sold real-estate for nearly 18 years and was recently licensed to sell Securities to customers and employers for retirement plans. Growing up on a farm & ranch outside of Burns taught Mark the value of a good work ethic, and showed him the importance of Insurance for Farmers and their crops, thus creating his interest in insurance. Being there for the customer by providing total service is the key to success, and that is what Mark stresses to all his employees within all Burns Insurance Agency locations. Our goal is to treat customers with the utmost respect and provide the best possible insurance service. All employees at Burns Insurance Agency truly believe that we are "the Right Choice" for customers in choosing an agent. Mark is now serving as President of the Agency and personally invites any customer to check into the services and products offered at any of our many locations.

More About

BURNS

Burns is nestled in the southeastern part of Wyoming, and as most small Wyoming towns, got its start from the railroad passing through Laramie County. Founded in 1917, Burns was named after a railroad division engineer. Cheyenne, the Capitol of Wyoming, is located just 20 miles west of Burns along I-80. Burns is a small agricultural and retirement community which prides itself on the friendliness of its people. Burns is a great place for a family to raise their children with wide open spaces and room to roam within a safe environment. A brand new Elementary School along with a Junior-Senior High School that was built in 1998 compliments the town and its patrons. The new schools provide an excellent opportunity for students of all ages to participate in many school activities. Recently Burns has undergone a major facelift with a total makeover of their main street, and a developer is presently building new homes on a parcel of land within the city limits.  Come check out why Burns is a great place to live and raise a family!
